if you expect them to taste exactly like an almond joy, don't. they're an easy and healthy alternative that taste like coconut and chocolate's love child. imo, just as good and without the sugar hangover.
ingredients //
3/4c coconut cream
1c shredded coconut
splash vanilla extract
whole almonds
splash maple syrup
chocolate chips
coconut oil
method //
combine coconut cream, shredded coconut, vanilla & maple syrup. mix. add grab a handful + add an almond in the middle (optional) and shape into a bar or a ball. freeze for 20 min. meanwhile, met chocolate gems + coconut oil. remove bars from freezer and cover in chocolate & sea salt. enjoy. store in fridge for a week!
